This strawberry tiramisu is super creamy, well-balanced and rather fake. Fake in the sense that it’s not the original tiramisu. However, it’s super easy and simple and you only need a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 300 ml whipping cream
- 500 g mascarpone cheese
- 70 g granulated sugar
- 30 g vanilla sugar
- 1 cup of cold strong espresso
- 20 pieces lady fingers
- freeze-dried strawberries on top
- 500 g washed fresh strawberries
I was really excited to try freeze-dried strawberries. Of course, I tried them before but for my usual bowl of cereals. This time, I was excited to use them for a dessert. I loved them. You can use them as cocoa for a tiramisu.
You will love the easiest strawberry tiramisu recipe on this page. It’s super low-effort and if you hate baking – this one is for you. No oven, just an electric mixer.
HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU:
Whip the whipping cream in a bowl on medium speed with electric mixer. Slowly add sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks.
Whip the mascarpone until it’s creamy in another bowl. Add whipped cream to the bowl and fold in slowly. Set aside.
Prepare a container. Dip the lady fingers in the coffee and lay them on the bottom of the container. You can also lay them and pour the tablespoons of coffee over them.
Smooth half of the mascarpone cream over the lady fingers. Add sliced fresh strawberries. Add another layer of lady fingers on top. Repeat the process.
Crush the dried strawberries until they have a consistency of a flour. Sprinkle them over the top. Keep the strawberry tiramisu in the fridge for a few hours – or overnight.
