The easiest peach cobbler is super sweet and juicy. You can serve it warm or cold – but always taste great with a scoop of ice cream. I love making this peach cobbler when I have too many peaches at home. You can literally make it with sour peaches, peaches more on the hard side or extra soft peaches.
Just mix in one bowl, throw on the flan pan and cover with dough. Bake in the oven and eat.
How to make The Easiest Peach Cobbler:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a flan pan greased with butter.
Peaches
Slice up peaches. apples and canned plums into smaller pieces. Put them into one bowl with flour, cornstarch, vanilla powder, sugar, and lemon juice, and stir well. Put aside.
Cobbler
In another bowl mix with your hands cubes of butter, flour and sugar until the consistency of flour.
Make a little space in the middle of the mixture. Pour milk, vanilla syrup, and lemon juice. Start working on the dough by slowly adding more and more flour. The final consistency should be wet cookie dough. The dough should be sticky, so you can form it into the shape of flat dough. If your dough is too wet, add more flour. If it’s too dry, add more milk.
Pour filling into the flan pan. You should leave at least 2 cm space from the top of the flan pan. No worries, you can eat the filling with a fork with a scoop of ice cream. Put flattened dough on top of the cobbler.
Bake for 35-45 minutes – when the dough starts to get brown. Take the cobbler out of the oven and let cool completely. Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
