Nutella Cookies are crispy on the edges and the bottom. One of the best chocolate chip cookie recipes you’ve ever tried. Cookies stuffed with Nutella are chewy, and warm, with chunks of chocolate. They go well with a glass of milk or a cup of tea. Even with a cup of coffee. We don’t make the rules, these cookies rule the world.

THE BEST NUTELLA COOKIES
I am 100% sure these chocolate chip cookies are the best Nutella cookies in this world. They are just perfect. They have the right amount of sweet and salty ingredients. The taste of these cookies is just a chef’s kiss.
how to get the cookies to look like this:
Room temperature ingredients – I know, we will be freezing the cookies before throwing them into the oven. But listen, listen, listen.. we need the room temperature butter and eggs for the soft cookie dough that will blow up your mind.
Freezing – I think there is nothing more annoying than freezing the cookies before baking (oh, making caramel is somewhere in that space as well). But, I promise you, this step will level up your cookie game. They won’t melt in the oven.
Chocolate chips – I usually chop up some chocolate I have at home but this time I bought a fancy box of chocolate chips and I love them. But, aesthetically speaking – throw some of the chocolate chips on top of the cookie before putting it in the oven. I also like grabbing a cookie and pressing the top into the chocolate chips. That’s how you get the perfect-looking cookie.
Sea salt – everything looks better with a pinch of (big crystals) salt on top.
HOW TO MAKE NUTELLA COOKIES:
Start by freezing 8 chunks of Nutella in the freezer.
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Prepare two baking sheets with baking paper.
Whip the butter with sugar until it has the consistency of foam. (5 minutes or more)
Add an egg and vanilla extract. Mix until it’s well combined.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. When the flour starts to disappear, add chunks of chocolate and chocolate chips. Mix again.
Take a piece of cookie dough and flatten it. Grab a frozen Nutella ball and hide it inside the cookie. Repeat the process and put the cookie balls into the freezer for another 30 minutes.
Put 3 cookies on the baking sheet and bake for 13 – 16 minutes (until the edges get brown). I didn’t flatten the cookie balls before baking so you can try which version you prefer. Let them rest on the baking sheet for another 20 minutes.
