Strawberry Sheet Cake With Cream Cheese
An easy recipe for Strawberry Sheet Cake With Cream Cheese.
Sheet cake
- 3 eggs room temp
- 1 egg whites room temp
- 1 mug regular granulated sugar
- ⅓ mug vanilla sugar
- 4 tbsps ALLNUTRITION strawberry in jelly
- ¾ mug oil
- 2 mugs cake flour
- 2 tbsps baking powder
- 3 tbsps ALLNUTRITION strawberry in jelly
Cream cheese layer
- 500 g cream cheese or mascarpone
- 150 g icing sugar
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a regular big size baking tray. Use baking paper as well.
Mix the eggs, egg white, and sugars until the mixture gets creamy on high speed in a bowl. It can take 4 minutes. Add oil, strawberry jam, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined – for 4 minutes.
Add flour and baking powder. Whisk until the flour disappears. Do not over-mix! Pour the batter into a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Take the strawberry sheet cake out of the oven and let cool in the baking tray.
While the strawberry sheet cake is warm, spread some strawberry jam over it. Let the cake cool completely.
