- 500 g milk chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 6 tbsps icing sugar
- 300 g smooth peanut butter

HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS ARE BETTER THAN REESE’S?
Probably not. However, they are really tasty. To be honest, I was surprised about how good they were. You can eat them literally out of the fridge (that’s when they are the most crunchy) or leave them on top of the kitchen corner and enjoy the creaminess.
Our homemade peanut butter cups were gone in two days. We ate the whole muffin tin of peanut butter cups. No kidding.
MY TIPS AND TRICKS FOR THE BEST Homemade Peanut Butter Cups Recipe:
- use good quality milk chocolate – you can also buy dark chocolate, whatever you prefer. I used pricier chocolate because I am a huge lover of creamy milk chocolate desserts.
- buy a smooth peanut butter – of course, you can use crunchy peanut butter. Again, these peanut butter cups are about you, what you like, and what you prefer.
- let the chocolate melt and cool completely – the worst thing you can do is to put warm melted chocolate in the fridge. Make sure you let the chocolate cool completely. The same applies to the cooled chocolate. Before pouring the peanut butter mixture on it, wait until there is a thicker layer of cold chocolate, so it doesn’t mix up.
- if you feel cheeky, put some little snacks on top

Prepare a muffin tin and paper cups.
In a bowl melt the milk chocolate over the boiling water. Let melt and cool completely.
Pour half of the melted milk chocolate into the cups. Put the muffin tin in the fridge or freezer. Wait until the surface of the chocolate is harder and not melted – 15 minutes.
In another bowl, whip smoothes peanut butter with coconut oil and icing sugar until creamy and smooth. Add the peanut butter mixture on top of the milk chocolate (⅓ or ½ of the tablespoon). Press the mixture down. Cover the peanut butter cups with the rest of the melted chocolate. Put in the fridge for another hour.
